THE SHOOTING CHRONY
Introduction
Every SHOOTING CHRONY® is made of 20 gauge steel but weighs less than 2½ pounds. It is powered by one 9 Volt alkaline battery (not included) and equipped with a large LCD-readout, 0.5" high. When folded, a SHOOTING CHRONY® measures 7½" long, 4½" wide, and 2¾" high. Every SHOOTING CHRONY® comes with an adjustable size, triangular shooting area from 8"×8" to 14.5"×14.5". The sides of the triangular shooting areas are made of wire-rods; the top of the triangle is formed by a 2¼" wide strip of tough, Hi-density polyethylene plastic, 1/8" thick. All shooting is done through the center of this triangular area, along the axis of the chronograph. Some SHOOTING CHRONY® seen on this Web-site may be shown either with the smaller shooting area or with the larger shooting area.
Every SHOOTING CHRONY® (manufactured after January 1, 2000) can be used together with our Ballistic Chrony Printer ™.

With the SHOOTING CHRONY® MODELS , the LCD-readout and all the Electronics are located in the CHRONY®-housing, out front.
With the MASTER CHRONY® MODELS , the LCD-readout and most of the Electronics are located in a separate, small housing, the Control Monitor. It is connected to the CHRONY®-housing with a 18 ft. telephone cord. This brings the LCD-readout right up to your shooting bench and away from the bullet's path. This Control Monitor also functions as a Remote Control. It fits inside the CHRONY®-housing for storage, and therefore, does not increase the size of the package.
Other than this, the MASTER CHRONY® MODELS have the same basic capabilities as their respective counterparts among the SHOOTING CHRONY® MODELS . MASTER CHRONY® MODELS and SHOOTING CHRONY® MODELS come with a 3 year limited warranty.
Except for the GAMMA MASTER CHRONY®, all other Models can be upgraded to any other Model with higher capabilities. For instance: An F-1 SHOOTING CHRONY® could be upgraded to an F-1 MASTER CHRONY® or to any other Model, for that matter. See our list of upgrades. The availability of upgrading comes in handy when faced with the choice of what to buy. You may never before have used a chronograph.

With us you can choose a model with features you know that you want. Later, should you want more features, there is no need to buy a brand new, more expensive chronograph. Instead: Upgrade the one you have for little money.

F-1 CHRONY green
F-1 CHRONY - The very first model and still the most popular. Provides numbered shots and velocities plus high, low and average velocities of the string.All Chrony models are powered by a single 9V battery and can be easily attached to a 1/4"-20 tpi camera tripod for fast, easy set up. The Chrony is simple to use, just unfold the box, set the sky screens in place with the diffusers, turn on the switch and start shooting.

BALLISTIC PRINTER
Prints on plain paper, comes with 16 ft. interface cable and runs on 120V_AC Adapter, Output_6VDC (included) or 4-AA Batteries (not included). Can be placed anywhere on the Shooting Bench because it connects to the Chrony with a Cable (without needing light port alignments).
The SHOOTING CHRONY BALLISTIC PRINTER works with all Shooting Chrony Models and all Master Chrony Models, manufactured and sold since January 1, 2000, and, starting with Serial # 157288.
The following Chrony Models manufactured and sold prior to that date and Serial number also work with the CHRONY PRINTER: The Alpha, Beta and Gamma Shooting Chronys and the respective Master Chrony Models. Prints velocities as you shoot, and/or afterwards, when retrieving from memory. When done, push button, and Printer gives statistics, such as: LO, HI and Average velocity, Extreme Spread and Standard Deviation. Attach to target or file. It is a document. Printer also functions as a Remote Control . Weight: 1 lbs.; 4" x 7.5" x 1.75" high. Every Gamma Chrony comes with a Ballistic Chrony Printer ; With the Gamma and Master Gamma it will also print Timer-Data .
The Gamma-Printer combination is ideal for anybody but especially practical for Gunsmiths : Staple print-out to target used and demonstrate difference between Factory Ammo and Reloaded Ammo.
